Ground Zero

[Smoke Battle]

  • credits to Smoke_20 for making this kickass map and giving me permission to alter and outfit it with km customizations
  • added armors and health kits to team respawns
  • fixed some alignments of certain packs on the map and also adjusted some of them to face different directions for conistancy
  • adjusted the amount of health, armor and ammo that packs outside of respawns give players as well as their respawn delays
  • added team colored lasers to all doors that lead into team respawns for visual aid to players so they don’t kill themselves by accident going into enemy respawns like i have on numerous occasions, lol
  • added teleporters in each teams respawn leading to one of their sniper towers
  • added teleporters in one of each teams sniper towers leading back to teams respawn
  • added bob the nervous sheep ( aka temporary sentry invisibility ) in each teams base
  • added red pentagram ( aka temporary quad damage ) in each teams base
  • made all glass panes on the map team colored
  • adjusted spawn height
  • added more ammo packs to the respawns
  • added the server tits
  • added cgc signature
  • added an ammo pack where there more than likely was meant to be one
  • a bunch of the usual km edits that i’m too lazy to bother typing all out.

[Acropolis2]

  • made the walls that the flag sits between team colored
  • added sentries to team respawns
  • added health kits and adjusted a buncha shit in regard to packs
  • made some other junk i can’t remember team colored
  • added more packs, armor, and health kits to both teams secondary respawns
  • door transparencies
  • added cgc signature
  • added server tits
  • other usual km edits, too lazy to type out

[Plugins and Mods]

  • added a plugin that removes the minimum delay before a demoman is allowed to detonate his green pipes
  • adjusted a bunch of shit in regards to sounds and models and organization both server and client side for easier map edits
  • started laying down foundation for the new server ( Apollo server ) and the eventual setup for the secondary server ( Odyssey server ). not gonna bother explaining all the differences between the two besides that one will be a fun server running triple jump and pipe delay removed + other shit and the other will not be running triple jump or pipe delay removed + other shit
  • removed several more sounds from the mandatory download list as I’ve found they are no longer needed for gameplay

  • fixed weapon reload glitch that caused players to bork their infinite ammo, FINALLY!.
  • removed the ability to rebuy smoke grenades through the custom weapons menu after noticing that smoke grenades are teh suck and also a few complaints about it throwing off peoples chi
  • switched some of the attention notices to hud hints so they don’t spam the chat
  • added some did you know? hud hints triggered when players do certain things. thanks gabe for the suggestion.

  • altered he grenades and flame bangers so they actually emit light when thrown and continue to emit light until they explode or go off. very very useful in hard to see areas.
  • pulled some more tricks out of the hat and made it so CT bots will spawn with their flashlights on as well, so now all CT players spawn with their flashlights on.

  • added map stats keeping system accessible via the custom weapons and equipment menu. stats currently tracked are specific to the map being played and include the number of times each team has won, death and kill totals for each team, total heal assists, total times the map has been played, and a difficulty rating system based on a zombie win to ct win ratio. included also for specifically ct team is an intel report that tells them the general average outcome of rounds for that map.
  • added chat trigger for displaying map stats
  • added heal assists stats keeping to the team stats display
  • altered grenades and flashbangs so they actually light on fire once thrown. this serve as a better visual aid to other ct players when someone has thrown a flame banger so they have enough time to look away
